These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AlienMail. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Plain English Summary
You may use AlienMail to run legitimate B2B cold email outreach. You must not use it for spam, illegal activity, or to harm others. You own your data. We own the platform. Prepaid credits are valid for 12 months. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.
1. Definitions
"AlienMail" refers to the platform, product, and services operated at alienmail.io and any associated subdomains.
"You" or "User" refers to any individual or entity that creates an account or accesses the AlienMail platform.
"Credits" refers to the prepaid sending units purchased to dispatch emails and consume metered services through AlienMail.
"Content" refers to any text, data, lists, templates, sequences, or other material you upload or create within the platform.
"Services" refers to all features, tools, and functionality provided through the AlienMail platform including AI Brand Intelligence, campaign management, deliverability tools, inbox warm-up, and analytics.
2. Your Account
To use AlienMail, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your account information current.
- You may not create accounts for the purpose of abuse, resale without authorization, or circumventing a previous suspension.
- One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts simultaneously.
- You are responsible for all actions taken by team members added to your workspaces.

3. Acceptable Use
AlienMail is designed for legitimate B2B cold email outreach. You may use the platform to:
- Send cold emails to business contacts in connection with a genuine commercial purpose.
- Build and manage prospect lists for outbound sales and marketing.
- Warm up email inboxes to improve sender reputation.
- Automate follow-up sequences for outreach campaigns.
- Analyze campaign performance and reply intent.
- Manage client outreach as an agency on behalf of your clients.
Anti-Spam Commitment
Cold email is legal in most jurisdictions when done correctly. You are responsible for ensuring your outreach complies with applicable laws in your country and the countries of your recipients, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act (India), CAN-SPAM Act (USA), CASL (Canada), and GDPR (EU/UK). AlienMail provides the infrastructure — you are responsible for the content and targeting.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use AlienMail for any of the following:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) to personal or non-business email addresses.
- Sending emails that contain false, misleading, or deceptive content.
- Harvesting email addresses without the knowledge or consent of the recipient organisation.
- Sending phishing, scam, or fraudulent emails of any kind.
- Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious links.
- Sending content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory.
- Violating any applicable anti-spam law or email marketing regulation.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform.
- Circumventing rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Using automated tools to scrape or extract data from the AlienMail platform without our written consent.
- Impersonating another person, company, or brand in your email campaigns.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or white-labelling AlienMail services without a written agreement.
Zero Tolerance
Accounts found sending spam, phishing emails, or engaging in deceptive outreach will be suspended immediately without warning and without refund of remaining credits. We reserve the right to report such activity to relevant authorities.
5. Credits and Billing
AlienMail operates on a pay-as-you-grow prepaid credit model. There are no mandatory monthly recurring retainers or seat fees. You purchase email credits in advance and spend them as you send.
5.1 Credits
A "Credit" is the fundamental unit of account on AlienMail. Currently, 1 outbound email sent = 1 credit. AlienMail reserves the right to introduce or adjust credit costs for optional or premium metered services by publishing updated consumption rates on the pricing page.
5.2 Rate Card
Recharge rates are tiered based on prepaid top-up spend. The canonical rates in Indian Rupees (INR) and US Dollars (USD) based on our ₹100 = $1 peg are:
- Tier 1: ₹500 – ₹999 / $5 – $9 at ₹0.10 / $0.001 per credit (5,000 – 9,990 credits).
- Tier 2: ₹1,000 – ₹4,999 / $10 – $49 at ₹0.06 / $0.0006 per credit (16,666 – 83,316 credits).
- Tier 3: ₹5,000 – ₹24,999 / $50 – $249 at ₹0.04 / $0.0004 per credit (125,000 – 624,975 credits).
- Tier 4: ₹25,000+ / $250+ at ₹0.03 / $0.0003 per credit (833,333+ credits).

5.3 Minimum Recharge
The minimum recharge is ₹500 in India or $5 internationally, and recharges may be made in multiples of ₹100 / $1.
5.4 Free Signup Credits
New user accounts receive 100 free bonus credits upon registration to evaluate the platform. Free credits carry no monetary cash value and are non-refundable.
5.5 Credit Expiry
Purchased email credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused credits expire automatically at the conclusion of the 12-month period and are non-refundable.
5.6 Price Changes
Credit rates are published on the pricing page and may change. Rate changes apply to recharges made after the effective date. Credits already purchased are honoured at the rate at which they were bought. AlienMail will give at least 30 days' notice of any rate increase.
5.7 Taxes and GST
All INR pricing displayed to customers in India is inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing statutory rate (18% GST). Invoices containing your registered GSTIN are generated upon transaction completion. Export transactions in USD are processed according to applicable export tax rules.
5.8 Refunds
Prepaid credits are non-refundable once purchased, as technical sending infrastructure is provisioned upon payment. Exceptions include duplicate transactions, billing errors, or technical failures reported to support@alienmail.io within 48 hours of purchase.
5.9 Currently Free Features & Beta Inclusions
Automated inbox warm-up, connected mailboxes, team seats, contact list storage, and agency workspaces are included free of charge with zero seat or mailbox retainers. AI Brand Intelligence generation and email verification are included during beta at 0 credit cost and may become subject to credit consumption in future releases with prior notice.
6. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all content and data you upload or create in AlienMail, including contact lists, email templates, campaign content, and workspace data.
By using AlienMail, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your contact lists or campaign content to train our AI models without your explicit consent.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any personal data you upload and process through AlienMail complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consents from your recipients.

Your Responsibility
AlienMail is an infrastructure platform. The content of your emails, the accuracy of your prospect lists, and compliance with data protection laws in your jurisdiction are your responsibility. We do not review or approve campaign content prior to transmission.
7. Intellectual Property
AlienMail and all of its underlying technology, including the platform, AI models, brand intelligence systems, user interface, and branding, are owned by AlienMail and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the AlienMail platform without our prior written consent.
You retain all rights to the content you create. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to AlienMail.
8. Availability and Uptime
We aim to keep AlienMail available and reliable at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our control.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance. AlienMail is not liable for any losses arising from platform unavailability, including missed send windows or delayed campaigns.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AlienMail and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to:
- Loss of revenue or business opportunities.
- Campaign performance or deliverability outcomes.
- Emails that land in spam despite warm-up and monitoring.
- Data loss due to account deletion or technical failure.
- Third-party service failures (email providers, DNS, etc.).
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to AlienMail in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your AlienMail account at any time by contacting us at support@alienmail.io. Upon account closure, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
AlienMail reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:
- You violate any provision of these Terms.
- Your account is used for spam, phishing, or abusive outreach.
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority.
- Continued operation of your account creates risk to other users or the platform.
On termination for cause, remaining credits are forfeited. On voluntary account closure, you may request a refund of significant unused credit balances at our discretion.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of AlienMail shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
